AI Can be a Resource for Students, Teachers

AI, or Artificial intelligence, has many positive uses in the academic world. AI is useful for both students and teachers to help breakdown information and can simplify the education process.

AI can be used for finding new ways to say things smoothly and convey individual ideas more efficiently. It can help give suggestions on various topics such as essays or math equations and can accomplish all this in seconds.
Teachers stand to benefit from this technology, too. They can ask AI to give tips for making their classes more engaging and fun for students, and to help with designing quizzes, study guides and summaries.
Language Arts Chair Mr. Hefetz said, “AI replaces time sucking parts of people’s jobs and helps them get to things that actually matter more.“
According to a Fall 2003 survey from Rand.org, only 18 percent of teachers actually have used AI in their classes and 15 percent have attempted to utilize machine intelligence.
Rabbinics Chair Rabbi Waldman said, “AI doesn't allow people to think for themselves.”
This brings up a valid concern.
Although AI can be used properly, some students take advantage of AI in an effort to work less.
Freshman Dani Kline said,“I think that people are going to be misusing AI.  I’ve seen it already.”
