Student Poll: Separating the Art from the Artist

GOA ninth graders share their thoughts on enjoying Kanye West’s music after his recent scandals. Although his actions are detrimental to the Jewish community, many students have not stopped listening to his music.

Jewish fans must ask themselves: are we helping a celebrity harm our community? 
Out of 22 students, 20 had listened to Kanye before his recent tweets and public statements. Of those, 15 have continued to listen, marking a 22.7% decrease in listeners.
