Get ready for some more Golda Och sports with the spring season! This season, GOA has a tennis team, baseball team, softball and a newly added track team. Fans are so excited to support the teams and come to games to watch GOA student athletes play.

Earlier this semester, GOA’s Climate Activism Club participated in a series of training sessions with other chapters (called kvutzot) of the Jewish Youth Climate Movement (JYCM), as part of a national Climate Activism Series. At these training sessions, members learned about the science and policy of climate change, its intersection with social justice and the basics of safe, effective activism. By Gracie Sacks ‘26
Last month, Golda Och Academy competed in the 23rd annual Jewish Canadian Model United Nations (JCYMUN) conference. Golda Och took home awards in three out of seven committees. Mimi Lebeau and Shayne Cytrynbaum both earned Outstanding Delegate on the Security Council and Crisis Committee, respectively, while Rachel Nadelmann earned an Honorable Mention in the UNWomen Committee. |
