Sophomore Sam Zaslow-Braverman has always loved acting and the arts. Even more, however, he loves playwriting, an activity that is not only enjoyable and therapeutic for him, but a career move.

Due to COVID-19, Golda Och Academy instituted guidelines to keep the school community safe. Students know how these restrictions affect them, but they do not necessarily know how they affect faculty members. Mr. Reinfeld, who has just started his first year working as a guidance counselor at GOA, provides a better understanding of how these regulations have impacted the faculty’s jobs. The newest member of the math department, Dr. Kotlowitz, joined Golda Och Academy at the end of the first quarter. A graduate of the City University of New York, he is excited to use his teaching experience and doctoral degree in engineering to enlighten GOA students about math. By Hannah Weisz ‘24
During the COVID-19 pandemic, many members of the Golda Och community miss going to concerts and musicals. However, the virus has hit musicians and performers harder, and Broadway’s classical musicians must find new jobs to make enough money during uncertain times. To find a job without a crowd, these incredible players have to be creative. |
