There have been many changes during the first three months of the 2021-2022 school year, including a new administration and new teachers. One of these amazing additions to the GOA faculty is theater teacher Mz. Lillie Ricciardi. From her hysterical catchphrase “Yes God!” to her wonderful teaching skills and her compassionate personality, GOA and the Upper School Arts Department is incredibly lucky to have her.

The Rishonim program has been a tradition at Golda Och Academy for many years, connecting Israel to the GOA community. It brings unity between Judaic studies and Israel's culture, allowing students to build personal connections with Israelis and gain a better understanding of Israel as a whole. This year, Golda Och has welcomed a wonderfully large group of faculty members into our vibrant community. From Dr. Apter to Rabbi Nevins, our new leaders have already helped the school evolve and grow like never before. The Chess Club is one of the newest clubs at Golda Och Academy, just starting this school year. Every Wednesday during lunch under the awning, the club members meet to play a series of intense intellectual matches. From beginner to advanced, all players are welcome. |
